Wikipedia 18 July 2015 (Richard FitzRalph (also Fitz Ralph; c. 1300-16 December 1360) was an Irish Archbishop of Armagh during the 14th century. By 1331, he was a Regent master in theology in the University of Oxford, and soon after was made Vice-Chancellor of the University. From 1344, FitzRalph began to keep an account in diary form of his sermons. On 31 July 1346 was consecrated Archbishop of Armagh. He made four visits to Avignon to consult the Pope, and on his fourth died there in 1360; he was buried in Dundalk, Ireland)
