Wikipedia 6 May 2021: (Charles Bruce Chatwin FRSL (13 May 1940 – 18 January 1989) was an English travel writer, novelist and journalist. He was born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, and went to work for Sotheby's in London. In 1966 he left Sotheby's to read archaeology at the University of Edinburgh, but left after two years, and became a travel writer, interviewer and novelist.
