From 27 March - mid-April direct cataloguing to the ANBD will be unavailable. The Trove Partners Cataloguing tool will be released in mid-April. He held office as the leader of the Australian Labor Party (ALP). He was born in Bathurst, New South Wales and became a railway engine driver. he was elected to parliament in 1928, defeated in 1931, and re-elected in 1940.
