The Universidad de Alcalá de Henares, also known as the Universidad Complutense, was founded in 1508. It was transferred to Madrid in 1836 <and renamed?: Universidad de Madrid>. The name was changed in 1971 (?) to Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Works by these bodies are found under the name used at the time of publication.
