Wikipedia 17 April 2020: (Robert Gray (1762–1834) was an English Bishop of Bristol. Born 11 March 1762, he was the son of Robert Gray, a London silversmith. He entered St. Mary's Hall, Oxford (M.A> 1787, D.D. 1802) and was ordained soon after 1790. After serving in parishes, he became bishop of Bristol in 1827; during the riots of 1831, his palace was burnt to the ground.
