  • Wikipedia 30 May 2019: (Edward Winslow (18 October 1595 – 8 May 1655) was a Separatist who traveled on the Mayflower in 1620. He was one of several senior leaders on the ship and also later at Plymouth Colony. He was probably born in Worcestershire, England. In 1617 he moved to Leiden, Netherlands, to join the English exile Separatist church there. He became one of the leaders of the Mayflower expedition to America. In the 1640s he returned to England to support the efforts agaist King Charles I. He planned to return to the American settlement but never did so.
