Wikipedia 1 April 2017 (Edward Harold Browne (usually called Harold; 6 March 1811-18 December 1891) was a bishop of the Church of England. He was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. He was ordained a priest in 1837. In 1854 he was elected Norrisian Professor of Divinity at Cambridge, and took his B.D. in 1855 and D.D. in 1864.
