Wikipedia 10 October 2020: (Michael Faraday FRS (22 September 1791 – 25 August 1867) was an English scientist who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry. he was born in Newington Butts [London], England and died at Hampton Court. he had little formal education. He served an apprenticeship as a bookbinder in London, and read widely. In 1813 he became assistant to Humphry Davy; he married in 1821 and was a firm Sandemanian. In 1832 he was granted an honorary Doctor of Civil Law degree by the University of Oxford; he was elected a member of the Royal Society in 1824, and became the first Fullerian Professor of Chemistry at the Royal Institution in 1833. he received membership of several foreign scientific bodies. he was granted a free house at Hampton Court, living there from 1858 until his death.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Faraday
