Wikipedia 24 May 2020: (John Campbell (born March 1766 in Edinburgh, Scotland – 4 April 1840 Kingsland, London), was a Scottish missionary and traveller. Following the Haldane Revival, Campbell became a Congregational Church minister. He was minister at Kingsland, an independent chapel he had founded, from 1802. He was instrumental in founding the British and Foreign Bible Society and became a director of the London Missionary Society. The London Missionary Society sent him to the Cape in June 1812, and from there he travelled a circuit through South Africa, arriving back in October 1813. He returned to London in 1815. In February 1819 he was back in Cape Town and made another journey; he returned to England in 1821, where he lectured on his missionary work.) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Campbell_(missionary)
