The National Library of Australia is replacing the infrastructure that supports the Australian National Bibliogaphic Database (ANBD) in 2025. From 27 March - mid-April direct cataloguing to the ANBD will be unavailable. The Trove Partners Cataloguing tool will be released in mid-April. Wikipedia 31 Aug. 2015 (James Bonwick (8 July 1817-6 October 1906) was an English-born Australian historical and educational writer. Born in Lingfield, Surry, he began teaching at 17. He arrived in Hobart, Tasmania in 1841, to teach at the Normal School, and began publishing school books. He moved to Adelaide, then to the Victorian goldfields, then to Kew (now a Melbourne suburb). He continued writing, with periods of teaching. He settled back in England in the 1890s, where he held the position of Archivist for New South Wales until resigning in 1902. He died in England)
